SHADOWS - FOUND AND MADE (FIRST PICTURE)

My goal with this picture was to create something interesting and unusual with a simple object. There was a beautiful sunset with a clear sky, the light was pretty intense and created harsh and defined shadows in my bedroom. Following the Rodchenko's idea of "capturing simple object from new angles to make them interesting to the eye" I tried to observe the shadows on the walls from the most unusual point of view possible. I took some shots and that's the result:


For increasing the magical and abstract effect of the situation I cropped and rotate the image that I liked the most. I've also added a bit of grain and I turned the image in black and white to create the soviet atmosphere that really impressed me about Rodchenko's photographs. That's the result:
