I spent hours looking through my pictures searching for the best one. I tried to focus on a particular style. I found this picture of Ben Stiller which I really liked. The harsh light makes the face pops out from the background. Everything around is dark and the subject looks brave and self confident.
I found a picture which had a similar composition and lighting, I used Adobe Lightroom to play with clarity, shadows and highlights. The final result shows Stefano shrouded in the darkness. I really like how shadows shape his face and sharpen his jaw. The reflections of the lights direct the attentions of the viewer to the eyes. The black & white effect gives even more charm to the picture focusing even more the attention on the glance of the model.
I’m really happy with the final result and I think it’s pretty close to the Platon’s picture.
